HomeMedManagement Systems Privacy Policy
| |
This statement discloses the privacy practices for HomeMedManagement Systems Inc.
This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") explains the types of information we gather,
what we do with it and how you may correct or change information that
HomeMedManagement Systems, Inc may collect.
| |
HomeMedManagement Systems Inc. and your privacy
At HomeMedManagement Systems, Inc. ("HMMRx"), we respect your right to privacy
and we understand that, as a visitor to HMMRx or one of our sites, you prefer to control your own
personal information and preferences. As part of the operation of HMMRx, we
gather certain types of information about HMMRx users. We will guard the personal
information you share with us to ensure the content and services that we provide
at HMMRx are always tailored to your current, designated preferences. HMMRx does
not offer, or allow the selling of, any user-provided information to third parties.
HMMRx collects two types of information about users: personal information (such
as name and e-mail address) and aggregate information (such as information about
how many users log on to our site on a daily basis).
| |
Personal Information
Personal information is collected when users voluntarily register for services.
We also collect e-mail addresses from users who send us support mail or request
technical or other help. This information enables HMMRx to improve our site to
make your online visits more productive and enjoyable.
HMMRx uses the personal information we collect to improve the content of our
site; to customize the content and/or layout of our site for each individual
user and to investigate violations of our terms and conditions of use. You have
the ability to change or update your personal profile at any time. You can do
this by going to your personal profile. Just login and click "Edit my profile".
You can help HMMRx maintain the accuracy of your personal information by notifying
us when you change your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, or your
content preferences. If at any time you wish to update your information or
preferences, or you prefer to stop receiving communication from HMMRx, feel
free to contact us at any time.
HMMRx respects the rights users give us when opting to receive e-mail communications
and enforces internal policies to preserve those rights. It is our objective to
retain the long-term ability to continue to communicate with our users. If you
do not want HMMRx or HMMRx representatives to contact you, you may "opt out" of this
preference at any time, whether you're online or contacting HMMRx directly. As part
of your preference flexibility, you'll always have the option to opt back in and
have HMMRx contact you based on your previous or new preferences. For instructions,
please see the section "Contact Us," below.
If you choose not to register or provide personal information, you can still visit
some of the HMMRx website; however, you will not have access to areas that require
personal identification.
| |
How HMMRx will protect your personal information
If HMMRx requests general demographic information, this information is limited
to reporting purposes only; members remain anonymous. Phone numbers, e-mail
addresses, and postal addresses are never shared for demographic reports with
outside entities.
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose
personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief
that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a
court order or legal process served on our website.
| |
Aggregate Information
One method of collecting aggregate information about your activities online (such
as the pages you access most frequently is by tracking Internet Protocol (IP)
addresses. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer
whenever you surf the Web. The computers that deliver the Web pages to you
automatically identify your computer by its IP address. When you request a page
from our site, our servers log your IP address. We do not link this data
to anything that can personally identify you. This means that a user's session
will be tracked, but the user remains anonymous. Our site records IP addresses for
the purposes of system administration and to provide aggregate data about the volume
of use on our site. This helps us to constantly improve the design and layout of HMMRx.
